We’ve learned a lot of really important lessons about building businesses, perhaps the most important being that…

What does that mean?

It means that some business models are just easier, more fun, more rewarding, and easier to start than others.

Some give you more flexibility of time, location, and who you choose to do business with.

Those are the businesses we’ll focus on at Be A Capitalist.

We’ll share with you the businesses we are starting and running – from information products to physical products to services – and the lessons learned from growing and operating them.

In all areas, we’ll do our best to lead by example and share with you the results from our own ‘experiments’ running our businesses.

We will also reach out to our friends that are experts and incredible entrepreneurs to get them to spill their guts on your behalf!

Many of our initial Be A Capitalist community members will likely come from the work we have done in the Local space.

You may be wondering, does this mean we are giving up on Local?

The answer is ‘No’.

We believe that Local Marketing is a fantastic opportunity for many entrepreneurs to build a successful business.

That being said, we are building businesses outside of Local, and we feel like we have a lot to share outside of Local…so we were feeling a bit ‘constrained’. :)

We are fans of many different businesses, not just Local.

We want to be able to talk about those businesses and all of the cool things we are doing and learning to grow them!

And to be honest, we feel that there are a lot of Local Marketers that probably should be doing something else…their personality and skills are not the ideal fit for the Local business model and they are struggling.

We’d like to help them find the right business for their long term success, and Be A Capitalist can help with that.
